Breaking Bad – Season 3

I don’t think I have been this excited for TV since the sixth season of The Sopranos started airing in 2006. This trailer for the Breaking Bad season 3 makes me wish the next 12 days would disappear.

Luckily I can get my fix watching reruns of season one and two starting March 10th.

Anyone else losing sleep in anticipation of season 3?

AMC Rerunning Breaking Bad, Set Your PVRs

Breaking Bad Season 3 on AMCBreaking Bad is my favorite show on TV and Season 3 starts airing Sunday March 21st at 10PM (9C) on AMC. Starting Wednesday March 10th AMC will start airing reruns of season one and two in the early morning. If you have a PVR and haven’t seen Breaking Bad, you should definitely check out a trailer from season one and set your PVR. I love the show so much I think I might watch them all over again.

Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family’s financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White’s releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Grooveshark for iPhone

Grooveshark has been developing mobile apps for their hugely popular streaming music site. The Blackberry and Android apps have been available for a while, but the iPhone app has been pending iTunes App Store approval. Shockingly, the app was rejected by Apple. Except replace ‘shockingly’ with ‘obviously’. So what do you do when it becomes obvious that Apple will never approve your app? Release it to Jailbroken iPhones through Cydia.

I have been running a stock iPhone for probably a year now. I didn’t really have much of a reason to jailbreak, but as soon as I heard the Grooveshark app was out I downloaded Pwnage Tool and freed my iPhone.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone I highly suggest you download the app and give it a try. Why you ask? Well how about access to any song in Grooveshark streaming to your iPhone over 3G whenever you want? How about access to your Grooveshark favorites and playlists (for users with accounts)?
